Mobile Task Force Eta-0 "Hell Jumpers"

Eta-0.jpg

Task Force Mission: Quickest possible response to threatening situations involving injured Foundation personnel Off-Site.

Organization: Eta-0 was formed in the year 2019 as a part of an experiment for a product to be used for all MTFs universally.

Creation: The test that had taken place in [REDACTED], despite being successful, costed a good deal of money and the product was going to be left unused. It was at this time that [REDACTED], the commander of MTF [REDACTED] suggested that the product be used on a much smaller scale for a single MTF. This was approved by the O5 council and the “Hell Jumpers” were formed.

Task Force Size: The “Hell Jumpers” are stationed on all Sites universally. Each squad held at these Sites contain at least 22 members. During activation 10 medical jumper units (including a commander) use a singular launch pod (which will be recovered following the incident in which it was deployed) and 2 designated launch watchers will control the launching device.

Unit Structure:
The following outlines the squad structure that should be followed when Eta-0 is deployed.

- 1 Commander - Should be launched with every team, leads the deployed squad as well as acts as a Medical Jumper Unit.

- 9 Medical Jumper Units - Launched and equipped with advanced field medical supplies and highly trained in the medical field in order to get the fastest possible results during a situation. Permitted to carry light arms (pistols, machine pistols, etc…).

- 2 Jumper Escorts (Per QMRP) - Launched with Medical Jumpers to act as security overwatch. Permitted to carry heavier weaponry than medical jumpers for sake of protection.

- 2 Launch Watchers - Control the trajectory of the launch pod. Two must be used for each launch.

- On-Site - When not activated there should be 22 members of Eta-0 On-Site. This should include 2 commanders, 18 Medical Jumpers, and 2 Launch Watchers. This is enough to support two deployments at once.

Activation Parameters: The “Hell Jumpers” should only be utilized during situations in which require an immediate response for injured MTF units or other Foundation personnel off site requiring advanced medical assistance.

Deployment Process: Eta-0 Squads are launched into action via a short range pod launcher called the QMRP Launcher (Quick and Mobile Response Pod Launcher). The Launcher does not utilize extreme amounts of fuel for initial takeoff and the pods used do not require any source of energy. Because of this (and the budget it would require) the QMRPs have a short launch range. QMR Pods can be used as small scale medical centers if absolutely necessary. All Sites should have a Eta-0 launching zone in order to resolve this issue. When approaching the landing zone the QMRP automatically deploys its parachute at the latest possible time for a safe yet fast landing. Once the situation in which Eta-0 was launched for is resolved and the area is cleared a QMRP truck will be dispatched for pickup of both the pod and the crew that was launched.

Vehicles:
Below is a list of specialized vehicles used by Eta-0.

- Quick and Mobile Response Pods

- Quick and Mobile Response Pod Launchers

- Quick and Mobile Response Pod Retrieval Trucks

Overall Expenses:
Below is a list of expenses used by Eta-0.

- Launcher Fuel - Medium Cost

- Repairing of damaged Pods - Low Cost (often not in need of repair)

- Truck Fuel - Low (Travel distance of trucks is short range)

- Medical Jumpers - High (Due to extreme risk of deployment)

- Launch Watchers - Medium

- Medical Supplies - Cost depends on the amount of medical supplies utilized during deployment.

Overall - A medium cost compared to other MTFs. Fuel, payment of units, and risk compensation take up the majority of what money is used for Eta-0.
