Our Mission
The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) strives to make every SCP Foundation installation a better and more positive workplace. We aim to do this by encouraging healthy dynamics between staff of all departments, their superiors, and their peers, while also giving personnel the chance to transfer to separate Departments, Mobile Task Forces, Projects, or Research Groups1
Responsibilities
The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) is responsible for the following
1. Investigating reports of Foundation personnel breaching the Foundation Code of Conduct
2. Investigating all incidents between personnel
3. Investigating all reports of Supervisors/Directors allowing unsafe work conditions or putting personnel in unsafe situations.
4. Conducting Internal review of personnel who have been detained or arrested by Federal or local Law Enforcement, in conjunction with the investigation performed by the Internal Security Department (ISD) CALLSIGN: MOTHER
5. Performing no-knock assessments of Installation work and living conditions.
6. Assisting in review of Department/Division/Group funding
7. Performing liquidation of shut down Departments/Divisions/Groups
8. Assisting in personnel placement
9. Assisting retiring personnel up to one (1) week before retirement with selecting replacements (if applicable), and discharge from Foundation employment
10. Reviewing transfer requests, and preforming the necessary record modifications (if approved)
Inner-Department Divisions
Accounting Division:
Responsible for reviewing funding for all Departments. Personnel must be able to pass Level Four Special (4S) screening. All suggested changes to funding are reported to the Division head, who will then convey the reports to the O5 Council
Installation Assessment Division:
Responsible for no-knock assessments, and the following review2. Personnel must be able to pass Level Four (4) screening. All assessments are reviewed by an agent from a different branch3, before being returned. Action is then accordingly taken.
Personnel Investigation Division:
Responsible for investigating all incidents between two or more personnel, incidents of personnel being detained or arrested by Federal or local Law Enforcement, along with investigating all reports of general misconduct. Personnel must be able to pass Level Three (3) screening. All investigations, once complete, are sent to an agent of The Review Committee4.
Rapid Intervention Group/Division:
Responsible for intervening in incidents involving personnel that are considered to be especially high risk. Personnel must be able to pass Level Three (3) screening. All agents must prove proficient in use of the Glock 20 10mm pistol, but do not have to qualify expert. The Rapid Intervention Division is made up of so few agents, it is often simply referred to as the 'Rapid Intervention Group'. Agents are often identifiable by their navy blue 'DIA' windbreakers. Agents of this Division are coequally referred to as 'RIPs', short for Rapid Intervention Personnel. Every Branch has one Rapid Intervention Group/Division.
Mobile Task Force Nebuchadnezzar-22 "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US":
Department of Internal Affairs MTF. Mobile Task Force Nebuchadnezzar-22 is responsible for the seizure and liquidation of condemned Department's/Division's/Group's assets. Operators must be able to pass Level Three Special (3S) screening. All agents must prove proficient in use of the Glock 20 10mm pistol, and either the MK18 SBR, or the HK MP5, but do not have to qualify expert on any. Operators can often be identified by navy blue 'DIA' windbreakers, usually worn under or over plate carriers.5
MTF Nebuchadnezzar-22 separated into two distinct elements, Nebuchadnezzar Major and Nebuchadnezzar Minor. Nebuchadnezzar Major is composed of select active members of Mobile Task Force Nu-7 "Hammer Down", who are called into service during emergencies to assist with especially resilient Departments/Divisions/Groups. Nebuchadnezzar Minor is composed of select active RIPs, who have undergone advanced training in use of the MK-18 SBR and HK MP5. Nebuchadnezzar Minor Operators are called in for most liquidation operations, and act as normal RIPs until called in.
Both Nebuchadnezzar Major and Nebuchadnezzar Minor meet twice a month to go through training in CQC and urban environments, as well as to familiarize the two elements and allow for them to train for situations in which they will have to work with the other element
